Yes, Larry Showalter was there for sure. So what?

By the age of the people in those pictures, I hope that we equiped Moody with Automated External Defibrillator devices. Some of the people look old enough to have attended the first game in Old Moody.

We always joke about our aging fanbase, but at events like this it hits you in the face. The number of people at these things who are under 35 is scarily low.

Watch out or we will "accidentally" drop our teeth in your beer and then drive slow in front of you with our blinker on all the way home.

Don't have any issues with the longtime fans. God bless you for what you've had to endure. More a commentary on there's only a handful of people to fill the stands as our fanbase ages out.

Unfortunately that is the demographic we are dealing with right now. Hopefully basketball will lead the way to introducing a new generation of fans to SMU.

speaking of demographics- I hope there are some seats available and affordable for some of our 'new' fans that might show up based upon our recruiting of some key Dallas players. I would hate for a group of KF's friends/family to show up and see that ticket prices are beyond what they can spend. If you get my drift ( and no negativity implied).

Actually that is a pretty good point. I think all the expensive seats are just about gone.

Cheapest seats are $15.80, Hofstra are $7. Premium games are $18 cheapest.

Unlike football, I can tell without any doubt that I know our basketball staff has already thought of that.
