SMU fans are living in Two Different Worlds
One with the facts and one with the DMN

I don't understand how people are so ignorant on subjects they talk so much about. Aren't they curious and try to learn about what is going on? Or do they take the pineapple wafer every sunday to absorb aloha mana at June's tiki church every sunday and are just operating on faith?

If it is true? So you admit all your posting is exactly what 80% of us have been saying - completely ignorant. All this stuff is public and has been going on for years. Dedicated fans need to get on board with the real data otherwise Turner or whomever can continue to lie to you and exploit your cluelessness. Were you here for THE COMMITTMENT lie under Copeland?

I have never said there were not areas of concern. But there is more to the program than just this.

The "real data" covers positives too you know?

And my posting is not ignorant. It is unbiased. And that doesn't suit you.

You yourself admitted that you didn't know about the comments from recruits about June & staff's recruiting. That is by definition ignorance of the subject.

How many kids have been contracted by SMU?
How many have been followed up with?
Where did the kids end up going?
Would they have made SMU better?
How many SMU scholarships have been filled by kids who had no offer from SMU until late?
How do all these questions get answered re other programs?

You don't have "real facts" you have "some facts". I expect those who make the big decisions to do better.

Get me answers to these.

Your burden not mine. If you can't make the case that's hardly my fault.

We all accept that recruiting is hugely important. We disagree that it is the only thing. And we disagree to the extent that we have yet to see if someone can do better than Jones. I hope they can but until someone shows me a list of players that we would have had but for Jones and his staff and their approach to recruiting, then I am just going to keep my analysis of the situation as rounded, global and unfettered by frustration.

Not really. You are the contrarian, arguing against prevailing opinion

Your ridiculous denial makes you worthy of being thrown in the same looney bin as Planostang and cougar king

I'm not denying anything except your ability to read.

I'm asking questions. I want answers.
