"We're Going"

lucky Auburn kid-I wish I knew how it felt. My son wasn't near as excited about the Armed Forces Bowl or BBVA Compass Bowl

War Eagle! That was cool. Maybe we can make a video like that when we go to the Barf O'Brady Bowl.

Maybe he'll get excited when Larry Brown takes us to the Final Four tournament in a couple of more years..

Awesome family moment! On another note, did anyone else notice the houndstooth wrapped gift behind him in the early part of the video???

yep- noticed package. The 'Bear' will always be remembered and thought of when you see that 'black and white houndstooth' pattern.

That one was for June. It has a lump of coal in it.

actually he got screwed out of the first Hawaii Bowl too. His grandmother had asked me during prior summer if she could take all her grandkids to Disney World. She pre-paid so I went to Paradise and he went to the Enchanted Kingdom. Life sucks sometimes

My dad and I go to the Rose Bowl (sometimes both when their is a national championship) every single year, it's been a long standing tradition now for us. I can never remember being more pumped up for a Rose Bowl than the Texas SC national championship.

My dad had to break it to me that tickets were just too impossible to get that year, but when he gave me a commemorative hat and shirt on Christmas day, I found two tickets stuffed inside the hat. I started crying immediately, and then ended up witnessing the greatest national championship in history (in my opinion).

Vince Young's impossible late TD run ranks up there with my top sport moments, mos'def.

Great story, Oliver. Thanks for sharing. That was one of the best national championship games in recent years
