I'm sure it's different at PAC 12 games though.
It's soooo big too from what I recall. I'm an idiot though, I didn't go sit in Wooden's chair. Wish I would have now looking back but I was more or less just looking to go see Pauley and get the h3ll out of there.

As I've posted before, I love the UCLA campus. I did get the feeling walking in of history but I picked a bad game. This was several years ago and it was when UCLA was really down. Just no atmosphere. I wish I had stopped by Wooden's seat as well.

Cincy plays Nebraska at noon tomorrow on espn2. Interestingly enough, leslee smith is averaging 8&7 for the huskers

Just saw where DePaul is builsing a new basketball arena. They showed the dital images of what it will look like in 2016 when it opens and it it really good.

Oh I can't wait. I got to tour the grounds a couple months ago, sick. Finally bringing it back to campus. That place is going to do well for itself. It'll be good for Chicago talent to have a viable home option again.

Leslee smith plying pretty strong for Nebraska. I'll never understand why we cut him, short of being Lazy, which he's really turned around.

That may have been a big mistake for LB. It would be nice to have his big body in the middle for 20 minutes a game.

Well Nebraska did not roll. Please don't predict anything one way or the other on the SMU Cincinnati game. Thanks.

Not all that surprised. Cincy is solid and at home really hard to beat. I don't see us beating them there, but you never know. I'll be watching and rooting as usual.

It's a multi-purpose facility. A pro hockey team plays there, that's why it's all the movable seats down low. Like Rebel said, that place rocks when UC is playing a good team. The location is right downtown next to about 50 bars and restaurants. No joke. Solid location, about as good as I've seen even though I hate UC.
You are partly right. It was built as a multi-purpose facility. In order to get state funding it had to be multi-purpose, which is why it is shaped the way it is and the lower bowl seats push back. You are wrong about the location. 5th 3rd arena is on campus and is not shared with a hockey team. US bank arena is what you are thinking of. It is downtown near an entertainment district and a minor league hockey team plays there. UC usually plays 1 game a year at US Bank. The last couple of years that has been the Xavier game.

Not many high school arenas seat 13, 176. BTW, would have been more, but in order to get state funding they couldn't go over the capacity of St. John Arena where Ohio State used to play, which sat 13, 276.

Shiz, that's embarrassing. Yeah, you're right. I was thinking US Bank all the way. Too much liquor. But yeah, 5th/3rd is right on campus, great call. So you seem to be quite familiar, what you think of that football stadium? I like it a lot, don't think I've seen many cooler designs.
