Did those at the game notice the officials getting onto the SMU players every timeout when the bench would go out to meet the team? I really was waiting for a technical. I do not know why it was a problem. I always see the bench empty to meet the team at key times in big games.

Well that was FUN! Students have a ways to go, but overall good showing from our ponies and its fanbase.

Students have a ways to go? your kidding, right? They turned out great considering we have nobody in town. Should be big fun when they are in town and we get another great team in here.

We showed, but we don't know how to cheer. Just gotta get more coordinated, learn how to be active fans. Thats all.

Agree, it's a learning curve for the fans.

we need about 20 guys who grew up on ACC basketball to train everyone over there. For starters, don't boo the other team. Ridicule them cleverly, yes…but booing the other team is for idiot hicks.

Just got back from Moody. . . Haven't seen an "electric" crowd for the UConn game since the famous 11:00 pm games when SMU was a member of the WAC. The Fresno game against Tarkanaian & Chris Herrin comes to mind.

It looked like they were only concerned when they were crossing midcourt - which is probably a good thing and I imagine is a rule.

Anybody remember former SMU coach, Dave Bliss? Saw him at the concession area.

Umm no. Boo everybody and everything. Smu needs more intimidation, less concerns w class. Ultimately, Smerkins gets it. It's was really clear, even to those on tv, we're a very green crowd. Don't know when to cheer, what to cheer etc.

For those who watched the game on TV. Who were the ESPN announcers? From where I was sitting, one was a white female announcer?

I'd never heard of either before in my life. They did a decent job though.

gonna disagree with you on that one hoop. Loud and obnoxious - yes - can't get loud enough. get under their skin as much as possible. But booing college players makes you look like a tool.
