Check with SMU Alumni Association. They may have some networking programs or resources available to help.
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

we have a Houston chapter of our alumni association - most of them have at least three to four events a year, and if you want to get real involved just tell them and you will probably be in charge of something.
