Looks like GCB was dead on as far as park cities housewives and hypocrites go.

I live in Fort Worth I can tell you that there's lots of purple and TCU clothing on people especially on Fridays but generally it's clear that they support the team in that city

Probably kind of like Lincoln, Nebraska and the Huskers. No pro team in the city (or state) so that's really all they have to support.

The city has TCU in its website. Try to find a mention of SMU anywhere in Dallas...

And they mention in bold letters: TCU Big 12 Football.

They mention SMU in college football packages though: http://fortworth.sportstraveltours.net/ ... /ncaa.aspx

It’s all about strategy when it comes to football. That is why it’s important to have a game plan when selecting a college football package. Whether you’re rooting for Texas Christian University (TCU) or Southern Methodist University (SMU) – a Texas-sized rivalry that gets the blood pumping – or catching another NCAA game at Cowboys Stadium, we’ve got you covered with some the best packages around.

The TCU Horned Frogs are the heart of Fort Worth, and under the guidance of Head Coach Gary Patterson they’ve become one of the nation’s most powerful programs. Approaching their second year in the Big 12, the Horned Frogs are ready to face this year’s challengers. Packages available for the season include: Southeastern Louisiana, SMU, Kansas, University of Texas, West Virginia and Baylor.

Joining the Big East Conference this year is SMU, which means Fort Stadium is set to host some exciting games. Having just played four straight bowl games, the Mustangs are prepped to face their new competition. Packages available for the season include: Texas Tech, Montana State, Rutgers, Temple, Connecticut and the University of Central Florida (UCF).

Left behind by the city our school is in and left behind by Big 12. Have not hell sucks!
And I could care less what the DMN or North Dallas/HP/UP residents say about us, we keep their home values high, not the other way around! GO STANGS!

When are you going to pay up on your Chad Morris bet with CenTex? We were waiting for you at Barley House last Saturday.

I forgot about this haha I would like to be present to see this happen at barley as well

Fres, I guess he didn't see my post. Will let you know when we set the date.

Not sure what this has to do with the subject of the thread but derailing has kind of been your MO in your three months on PFs, so I'll bite. While Dallas is not a great sports town it is by far not the worst. Have you ever been to games in Miami or Atlanta? Heat fans left a finals game with a couple minutes remaining only to have the Heat comeback and force OT, then win. The fans were upset because security wouldn't let them back in the game. That is the ultimate example of sorry fans. Have you ever seen attendance figures for the Marlins and Florida Panthers? And Atlanta is the most apathetic pro sports town I've ever been to. When the Braves were making the playoffs every year they had trouble selling out the playoff games.

Wow, this is scary. Will I be safe bringing my Nine to Moody, or should I step it up to a .45 with a .38 back-up piece?

Well at least you'll have great stopping power with the .45
