Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansSomeone asked how KF was doing compared to other All-Americans. Thought it would be interesting to look up.

Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansDon't. Guy got McD AA by the skin of his teeth. Be fair to him. Guy has a bright future if he can hit the books.
Pony up!
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansFairly clear that all these hot shot All America frosh have a huge learning curve with top coaches and programs. With few exceptions, Frazier is right on track and is where he should expect to be. If you look behind the stats you will find that most must learn to play D and make up for their high school deficiencies.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansThere is no comparison between Keith Frazier's performance thus far with any other McDonald's All-Americans. We need to raise our expectations for Mr. Frazier. His performance thus far is unacceptable. My guess is that he would probably tell us that. Any typical All-American can get their own shot or make other players on their team better. Thus far this is not happening when Keith is on the floor. There is no reason he cannot step up his game. He scored zero. Count them, zero points today and has not been much of a factor all season. He forces shots and does not take the ball to the basket, anyone can see that. We all see his ability. We all want Frazier to be successful. We are just waiting for him to deliver. Maybe Keith needs a point guard like E-Man to bring the best out of him. Just hoping we do not have to wait until next year to see Mr. Frazier at his best.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansJust because we raise our expectations for KF will not make him play better. He will work hard in practice as he normally does and develop at his own pace. We can't throw the weight of the world on his shoulders as a freshman. That would be stupid. You can see he encourages his teammates and tries as hard as he can. I agree with CMF.

Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansYou should hear what the UK fans are saying about the Harrisons. Not so good
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americans
I agree. #HammerDown
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americans
I agree. I love when people say fans need to raise their expectations for someone and seem to think that will make a difference.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americans
I agree as well. Support him when he's on the court, and leave the expectations to LB.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americans
I'm sorry. Not your fault. But this post is the straw that broke the camel's back regarding my conclusion that 99.9% of people just don't don't know what the freak they are talking about.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansWonder if Duke fans had expectations for Jabari Parker? Then again, he was the #1 player in the country. Can fans have any expectations for Mudiay next year if he's still struggling as the season approaches it's mid-point!

Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americans
I agree. In all fairness, Stand Up has said he doesn't know that much about college bball (I think/hope). In terms of Keith, we beat out Tech for him. It's not like we beat out Duke or UNC. It's completely unfair for anyone to expect him to be superman. He'll be fine. BOP - Providing insensitivity training for a politically correct world since 1989.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-Americanspeople loved him after the uconn game.
Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansWe (CBB fans) have been spoiled by how game-ready some of the top flight recruits are, so I think it's unfair to crap on KF. It takes to get used to the speed/strength/nuances of the college game. You've got to be patient. I don't think writing someone off after 15 games in their collegiate career is fair. Not to mention, it's a absurdly small sample size.

Re: Comparing Frazier to other McDonald's All-AmericansIt's getting all rational up in here. There is some hope.
