one of you whippersnappers needs to send out the link - and also a mass text reminder with the link, and then ask your buddies to forward it and get the students rolling on this deal.

I'm glad you're all excited to vote for SMU and that people are excited about SMU basketball, but let's tap the breaks and be realistic. Our average attendance is 3,443. That doesn't even put us in the top 100 in attendance. Actually, that's about 2,200 less than #100; that means UTA is only 1,400 behind us, so we are closer to them than we are to the top 100.

I understand this is a fan poll, but I have been to too many SMU home games to believe that we deserve to be ranked in top 100 when we aren't even close to top 100 in attendance.

We're actually averaging about 7K in attendance at home this year. Garland was not home.

I am fully aware of what we did in the last 2 home games, but you have to admit that is too small of a sample size. Last year saw a huge increase in season ticket sales, and we still only averaged 3443.

I think the fact that you try to distance from Garland proves my point. If our fans were really that impactful, they would have gone. Players and coaches wouldn't have worried and expressed displeasure at poor attendance.

We'll be fine now that we are at Moody. Just have to do something about those empty red seats.

our attendance from here on out will average over 6k easily. Its not even worth talking about, unless you are trying to be a Debbie downer.

what's sad? A&M averaging about 6,300. They have over 45K students.

with a quality product on the court, I'd like to think we will see sellouts for the top programs when they come in and 6k plus for the entire conference slate. Would like to think we will see no less than 5k no matter who we bring in to Moody in the non-conference next year
