Yours are questionable at best.

So is all of ours for that matter. So you think we win or lose because OBF makes a prediction. Be sure to let LB know so that he can take the night off.

I watched some last year just because of Brown, but the team just wasn't very good and hard to watch to enjoy. Sooo much different this year, night and day. Even the games where they shouldn't win, they've had chances. At some point the team will "steal" a few wins. I just hope now that they can play some strong ball at home, take care of business with 8-10 wins straight, especially with Memphis being the only team that is arguably better in that stretch. And SMU gets them at home I believe.

Will you stop with the even semi prediction of 8 to 10 straight wins already. The last time you predicted anything the team you predicted to win lost badly. So please leave your predictions to Ohio State not SMU. Especially since we are just a Nic Moore bad game or fouling out from being a average team that will have a tough time with any of the teams on our schedule. One game at a time is the way we all should look at it imo. Not trying to be tough on you but just saying. Beat USF.

Damn, I don't even recall what "predictions" I've made. But you keep hanging onto one that I don't recall. Really my point is that the schedule is set-up not to play another post-season team until Memphis. That to me are wins. I don't think me saying they should reel off 8 straight against inferior opponents will affect how the team does. That's not a prediction either, that's saying that 8 wins should be in the cards based on opponents. Seriously? What team do you think Brown plans on losing to in that stretch? And I doubt the team is taking 8 games off because some poster on PonyFans said there's 8 straight very winnable games...guess they could ask that at the presser tomorrow though if they plan to or not

A prediction is that SMU beats USF by 30 Wednesday, 85-55 and that Frazier goes off for 20. If you say a team sucks and SMU is better, therefore SMU should win, that's a conclusion based on logic, not a prediction. It's not some out of the world special insight that anyone watching basketball can't figure out otherwise. What games do you plan on losing in the next 8 since it's apparently a stretch to reasonably think they should be wins?

We base too much on Nic Moore player to say look 8 to 10 games ahead imo. I am not looking past USF. How many does OSU needs to win in a row?

OSU just needs to get their [deleted] together all-around on the offensive end. Players need to take open shots to be a threat against a zone. But it's not exactly a panic that they dropped 2 this week to top 15 teams. And one was on the road. It's B10 play, they happen when you're playing very good teams that are as good or better. The teams coming up on SMU's schedule aren't as good or better as SMU. Doesn't mean they can't lose, there's always upsets. But I don't see how it's so unreasonable to expect wins?

And I said semi prediction not prediction. Since we have not played most of the upcoming teams before I can't say for sure how we will do except for Hofstra. But I will take one game at a time and cheer on the team in each one. So how many games do you hope OSU wins in a row?

4. They won't be losing til they go up to the Kohl Center if Minnesota doesn't get them this week. I don't know what this has to do with anything. For one, two completely different animals, Minnesota and Illinois are both going to be in the postseason and anyone in the tourney in an at-large spot can knock off any top flight team on a given night. So it wouldn't be a surprise to see either beat OSU. But there's not a game before @ Wisconsin anyone would reasonably expect them to lose.

And this conversation has nothing to do with SMU defending and rebounding to win games.

Not saying that SMU will go on a long winning streak, but we did just have a really bad game from Moore, played without our starting center for the first time, and lost a close game away to the 12th ranked, preseason number 1 team in the country...

I think we go 11-5 the rest of the way. The game at Houston is going to be tough, as well as home against Memphis.

There's no offense taken. I like Rebel, I think he just doesn't want the team jinxed, which I understand that as well. Wasn't trying to make any predictions in the thread, only the fact that this team plays some nasty defense and boards extremely well. That Louisville board discrepancy is truly ridiculous and about the only reason SMU had the chance to win it. If that effort continues, many good things will come and show up in the bottom-line (W-L) at the end of the year. But yeah, no hard feelings towards Rebel, no need to apologize but thanks for the words.

SMU fans are incredibly gun shy. It's sad but I'm one of them. We've been in the desert a long time. Being a great rebounding team is sorta like having really high third down efficiency in football...covers a lot of sins and deficiencies
