Not to get too political on here, but two SMU alums are running to replace Dan Branch's house seat as he runs for AG. Morgan Meyer graduated from SMU undergrad and is an attorney with Bracewell & Giuliani. Chart Westcott graduated from SMU law. Politics aside (and I'm sure that as Park Cities Republicans, they agree on pretty much everything), it would be nice to have more SMU people in elected office in Texas.
Also, I believe Dan Branch went to SMU law as well.
