Lots of love for both the team and Moody. Even more from the studio guys. As mrydel said, it was a virtual promo for SMU.

The Brown hire just keeps looking more brilliant with each passing game. The team really plays smart for the most part, except for the first halves of the Ark and UL games.

As the wise Mrydel noted, that game was a two hour commercial for the school. I can't remember a college event I've watched where the announcers literally did nothing but talk about how great everything ever SMU was. Buildings, Moody, library, campus, team, renovations, Larry, assistants, concessions, Loge seating. Yeesh. Simply amazing.

I've been saying this for ages, when you look at this objectively, with all the assets SMU has, why should a school like Memphis, Marquette or Gonzaga be considered a BB school and not SMU?

Some might argue it's because SMU is in Texas. To your point, doesn't mean SMU can't be very successful.
