He said it on the postgame interview on 770.

He did add that the fans that came were superb.

I thought it was a good crowd also, but I guess the godfather has higher expectations.

Not sure how/why we could expect more.

These games have had a 'Big time' feel to them, btw. The renovated Moody is as good as any spot in Dallas to watch a game.

Also, the club was dead after the game. Do folks know that it's open for a half hour after with bar service? My buddy and I went back there to celebrate and there were about 6 people in there. It was only 8:00, c'mon! Guess I am part of the lost generation who doesn't want to go straight to the bar and doesn't feel tired enough to go straight home.

What is the minimum to get in there?

We should all have higher expectations. Doesn't mean we can't be jazzed about a great win and be thankful for those that came out to support the team. The reality is SMU needs to continue building that die hard fan base that makes the game regardless of opponent, time, or competing options. Inflating attendance numbers and kidding ourselves does no good whatsoever.

Will just takes some time.

Didn't know that about the club.

Floor, Club, Loge, and Suite holders. So, I guess $1000 since that is Club Baseline minimum. It was crowded pregame, just thought a few more might hang around after.

Tuesday night, 7pm vs. Rutgers. Hopefully we'll be 14-4 and gunning for 15-4. With tipoff being an hour later that should give people more time to get there. Let's pack the place

Unrealistic to think this would be a sellout.
By half the place had pretty much filled up.
To be blunt, we would have killed for a crowd like that any time in the last two decades - especially against a team no one cares about.
Everyone there was in their seat for SMU, not to see them play a high profile opponent.
Good job students and good job crowd. Not quite there yet, but we've come a long way in a very short period of time.

It was probably as big as our biggest crowd last year.

Also - no visitors. All mustangs. This was a good crowd. Hope they keep coming back for smaller opponents. We should get easy sell outs vs Cinn, Memphis, Houston and Louisville. That would be five in a year. Unheard of.

Have a hard time seeing Houston being a sellout....but the other 3 should be for sure.
