No. A&M has more schedule commonality with us than any other non-conference team we faced, therefore their RPI will weigh more heavily on ours than any other non-conference opponent we faced. See here: http://www.rpiforecast.com/teams/SMU.html (scroll to the table at the bottom and sort by future weight)

This is kinda exciting. Using CalallenStang's link, I see that SMU has a 66% chance of winning 21 or more games, BUT, those calculations over look the Hostra game. Assuming we beat Hofstra, that makes it a 66% chance of 22 or more wins.

Using these same numbers, and including a Hofstra win, there is an 85% chance of winning 21 or more games and a 96% chance of winning 20 or more games.

This is fun, but UConn just beat Memphis at home, so we are in for an exciting conference season. BTW, the UConn win should help our RPI.

My Bucks are sucking again. No freaking penetration and nobody can shoot. Awful combination against a zone.

Did not see Houston getting clobbered like that in Louisville. That was a surprise to me.

Houston isn't very good. Somehow they've got a couple nice wins but it's not a good team from when I've watched. Must be Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde type situation cause I've not seen it out of them at all this year.

i think they are pretty strong at home and not at all on the road. Even more than most other teams. We need to not overlook that game in Houston. It could bite us if we are feeling cocky.

They had a bad night tonight. But they did beat UConn and gave Cincinnati all they wanted. They are not a team to go to sleep on especially since they will be getting Daniel House back pretty soon. Houston also had a 10 day layoff between the Cincinnati game and the Louisville game.

It's ugly. Downright ugly. Defensive struggle to the max. I thought SMU struggled scoring, gawd I wish we had Nic Moore. This is downright embarrassing. 3rd straight loss in a row. Going to be a major uphill climb in the B10 with this crap.

Did you see my post about the HS tourney there this weekend. E-man is playing a guy that has signed with OSU. Are you near Dayton?

No I didn't see it. But yeah, he'll be going against David Bell and Garfield (they suck this year). David Bell isn't that good either, very raw talent, project and OSU desperately needs the bigs. The game against Trotwood will be a good one though. Trotwood will be a force at the DII level in Ohio this year.

Real strong year for the state across the board. Unfortunately, the best team imo in Ohio won't be at the event (Villa Angelo St. Joes). They got Carlton Bragg who's top 10 nationally along with a few other great players. Smaller school in the Akron area but they can really play.

I'm going to try to get there but I got work and stuff that may not allow me to. I may make it for Saturday, Dayton isn't too far away. I posted the link for the schedule below.

yeah, I looked your OSU guy up. 3-star with not many offers. If you get out there Sunday to see PP, let us know how it goes

For sure, will do. Like I said, that Trotwood match-up will give them more of a challenge then Garfield Heights I think. I definitely would like to see PP if my schedule allows. So hard to get out to these games and tournaments though anymore. I can hardly keep up with my sisters AAU stuff at this point.
