He likes freshman as well. Starting wing Sterling Brown has that Chicago toughness and EMan will come in next year and really help.

Re: Shawn Williamshe had some of those 4-5 and 4-4 games early in the season in limited minutes too like against Rhode Island. I took a fresh look at him this year because of the perception. He has played some good games throughout the season. Admittedly he is not always consistent offensively but he helps out in other facets of the game that are often overlooked-and those facets are actually how SMU wins basketball games

While he won't win many games for us, he will never lose one by f'ing up. Do unto others before they do unto you!!
Re: Shawn WilliamsLB loves him - ive had my doubts for sure but might be his most active game in quite a while
Re: Shawn WilliamsHe certainly picked the right time to pick up his game. HIs last two have been great. Seems like he and Kennedy both got fired up about the same time. Given the loss of Yannick, and maybe because of his loss, they both really picked up their game.

Re: Shawn WilliamsHopefully the two early fouls at Louisville taught him something. In the limited minutes in that game and against USF he has been outstanding.
