Yeah I've been pretty critical of Frazier too-criticize those calling for him to start-what I'm saying is that when he's on the floor I want to see him do more than jack up 3s where he is 0-14 in last 3 games. I want to see him drive to the basket, play defense, pass and rebound like those starting ahead of him.

Great win. Goes without saying it would have been tighter if their best player doesn't go down. Regardless, we have more depth and win. Really disappointed in a few players but particularly with Frazier. Thought he got more time today, and he just wasted most of the opportunities he had. Not only does he not have confidence, which he can work on, he just seems careless and disinterested at times, which is what worries me. Hopefully he gets his head in the game because we could certainly use him against Louisville, Memphis and cincy.

Appreciate his hustle but its the spacing, driving to the hoop (seems afraid), and defense help which is really worrisome. He seems spooked in most phases. We all hope gets straightened out soon.

Been starting for like 3 games

Been starting since Moreira was out injured.

i think he means when Yannick is back he still needs to be in there with yannick. I think LB does not want to have to pull them both at any point - so MK is going to keep coming off the bench, since it gives us a force out there at all times - and MK is very much stronger than anyone else's number 2 center - so there are match up issues for the other team after the first substitution .

Nic held the ball away from the ref while the ref was asking for it

I actually think he said something to the UCF player.

I think he did but the ref didn't call the T until he held the ball away

If Brown ever wants to work overtime on defense just put Frazier and Head on the court together. Between quick missed shots and turnovers we will be on defense a lot.

Yes, I want Kennedy and Yannick in there together to start. They are the best two big guys, pass well out of the low-post, rebound well, run the floor and finish. I want them playing together and in the starting line-up when Yannick is back.

just read that we held UCF without a bucket from the field for 10 minutes. Wow. If I'm not mistaken wasn't that right after they got that 3 when the shot clock was down about 1 second. If true-pretty impressive. Oh maybe it was after that putback after the other missed desperation 3 with the shot clock running down

From ESPN:
"UCF didn't score a field goal for more than 10 minutes, getting its only points on free throws from Blair, Spurlock and Kasey Wilson. The Knights went 0 of 10 during that stretch and committed five turnovers. By the time Steven Haney ended the drought with a 3-pointer, there was just 1:44 left in the game and UCF was down 54-42."

I noticed today that Keith is not looking at the basket when he starts his jumper...he's just gunning it.

same article, good quote

"If we had played the first half like we played the second half, this game never would have been close," Kennedy said. "We take too long to get warmed up, especially when we're on the road. But we kept fighting and once we started executing our offense, things were going pretty good."

that was the period I saw Frazier make a solid contribution with rebounds, steals and saving 2 loose balls-just trying to give him some recognition for helping team win when he didn't have his shot. Also, he didn't take any bad shots during the period

He also took one to the hoop strong and finished. That was pretty. Well, prettier than jacking up another shot from outside.

i think we looked great in the second half because we had both our guards back in the game. any time we have both N russell and N. Moore at the same time it won't go as well as we would like.

I think we as fans have to get out of the mindset that McDonald's AA's does not mean 1 and done. When these players go into different gyms they're usually the big stud on the court. Once they get into D1 basketball they're facing 13 studs on the opposing team on the court. The speed of the college game I think is what most high school players have trouble with like playing defense for 35 seconds. It may not sound like much but if you didn't play it in high school it can seem like an eternity.
