If you are an SMU fan you will be at this game. If you have to see two nfl teams play a game nobody will remember in 48 hrs, than record it.

NFL is a marketing machine. They make you have interest in random teams and personal interest stories makes people fans of the players.

I don't buy that or more nfl guys would have legit ad/marketing deals, but they don't. Football is just a great tailgating sport that lends itself well to tv. I don't begrudge anyone who loves the game, cause I'm certainly a hoops freak, but the day I choose watching random nfl players over my schools burgeoning revenue, is the day I'm just in it for the tailgate.
