Official: SMU vs. UCF ThreadModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Re: Official: SMU vs. UCF ThreadThat is very much the case. Keith was a great payer who is extremely athletic who will take some time to learn. He has unlimited upside. His biggest challenge will be staying in school long enough to be able to learn enough to get better.
Re: Official: SMU vs. UCF ThreadWhat I at CFE Arena:
1. The band had more people than the student section. I don't know what the announced attendance was, but the 10,000 seat arena was mostly empty. There were the sounds of crickets from the upper level. 2. UCF did a very good job keeping SMU from running the floor. I can only remember 1 or 2 transition breaks for SMU. 3. I was really surprised by the halftime stats. It seemed that SMU was the better team on the glass during the 1st half. I didn't think SMU even shot 32% from the floor. They were terrible in mid range jump shots (with open looks at the basket). Even without transition hoops, they have to shoot better than this - especially with all of the open looks they were getting. If they can improve this aspect of their game... This game was a blow out at the end of the first half. 4. SMU's defense was clearly better than UCF's offense. The season ticket holders around me were complaining that UCF hasn't run an offensive play all season. Their offense is as bad as SMU's defense is good. Some rise by sin, and some by virtue fall
