Baylor Sells Initial AllotmentModerators: PonyPride, SmooPower Owned? ... actually, this talk is funny.
"We are going to come in to your stadium and have more people than you." "We are more talented by leaps and bounds on all sides of the ball." "Your team is a doormat." That's what Aggies said to y'all last year. They lost. Just keep on saying that, b/c it will be funny to see you retract your words. Don't complain about people griping about your loss being a fluke to A&M when you come over on this board and do the same stuff that they did last year. Yes, You beat Colorado, and A&M. You also lost to every other Big XII school (besides ISU and KU, who even we beat 31-17) by 20+. You beat a legit Big XII team 2 seasons ago, and then used that huge momentum to lose last year's season opener 56-14 on the road to UAB. Way to use the momentum. Impressive. Is UAB better than SMU? Yes. But we have a 42 point window to slide into and still come away with a W against your Cubbies. You compare us to Texas State ... well, last year y'all impressively beat them by 7 at home. So I say we have a pretty good chance since it's on our field. This crap is getting old, Sept. 3rd needs to get here already.
12,000? I HOPE YOU ARROGANT CLOWNS SELL THE PLACE OUT....WE NEED THE MONEY! 12,OOO IS WHAT YOU GUY'S DRAW AT HOME ANYWAY! LOL

Is it just me or am I already missing the Sand Aggies and the 20,000 the brought last year? Class of '91
Prediction on total butts-in-seats at Ford Stadium on Sept. 3rd: 14,320
It will not be a sell-out. Too many people will be out-of-town for Labor Day weekend for that last-minute vacation/holiday getaway. Others (mostly Bear fans) will be off dove hunting. And others (Baylor fans & SMU fans) will either stay at home because of apathy over their respective football program or just sheer boredom.
Let's hope that the attendance is significantly higher. If we can only get 14K for our first home game, we'll be lucky to average 15K for the season.......
Don't know where you get 15K for an opening game. That's way too low.
But the FB program should do their best to schedule Labor Day (weekend) road games. Quite a few students will be travelling home. Of course, some can argue that the holiday weekend allows Alumni to justify a trip back. Either way, Waco Tech will have a long trip home.
If an opener with Baylor doesn't draw somewhere between 25-30k...then both these programs have fallen farther than I thought
Don't get too excited. Stallion stated SMU fans with his number. I believe that Baylor butts are included in your total. So it appears that one of the signs of the coming apocalypse has not been met. ![]() Class of '91
