Had very low expectations when that guy came out - in fact I thought it might have been a parody. Then I totally got won over. They a were really great.

Wow hope we fix that asap. I for one would hate to sell out 477+ consecutive games.

Hey, didn't say anything needs to change. Just said it wasn't my thing. Don't be an a-hole!

Not my thing either cox. Sporting events don't need to be a circus. Basketball is awful at this.

That's it. I'm not saying because X school doesn't do it we shouldn't either. I just know other schools where you don't need/want the circus crap because you need the breaks to keep from having a stroke. Cheer loud, take a break, cheer loud, take a break. Not stand quietly, and then cheer for the dance cam, stand quietly, cheer for a dunk...

I discontinued my Mavs season tickets because of their game presentation and more specifically, the Mavs annoying PA guy telling us and even chiding us to yell "De-Fense". Hearing him cheerleading on national TV games was and still is an embarrassment. Every year a bunch of us would criticize their presentation in Cuban's year end email review, but with no curtailing of the annoyances.

I loved the understated(at least at the Mavs games) but always strong Kevin McCarthy and the old Reunion Arena Rowdies. We made our own noise.

I haven't noticed SMU PA guy and that's a Good thing.

PA guy at Mavs games is a direct result of who Mark Cuban is. He truly personifies the saying "Money can't buy class"

I enjoy the game presentation.

Usually all the football games and previous basketball games have always seemed very mickey mouse.

Come on. That goes on in most NBA arenas. Definitely not unique to the Mavs.

I don't hear the PA guy at Madison Square Garden cheerleading! It's still old school organ at MSG.

If you REALLY want to lay blame (not that I blame him), it is Ray Clay, the old Chicago Bulls PA announcer back in the 2 three-peat days. He is the one who started what is now "the norm" in PA game presentations. It's not Cuban's "lack of class," everyone does it.,,with I guess the exception of the Knicks at MSG. Maybe that would explain why they are 10 games under .500. The fan's are not excited and cheering more for their team.
