I thought Mumme was a good influence in the offense. Some nice two back sets, good combo of the vertical and horizontal passing games.

That said, we had June, Morrison, Mumme, Chang, Phillips, and Suan on the offensive side. If I were to look at this from a more positive perspective, someone had to go so that we could spend money on some coaches who actually know certain positions. Chang at RB doesn't make much sense, and Mumme and Morrison both coach QBs.

I kind of thought Morrison might be the one to leave, but my hope is that this opens the door to be able to bring in a good recruiting coach at LB or ST.

We can hope, but knowing June he'll just hire one of his old-timer buddies who's looking for a paycheck.

Can you imagine having to show up every week knowing you are done, and trying not to be totally embarrassed on the sidelines? Feel sorry for next years seniors.

There is a reduced buyout before December 31st, 2014 ( $1 million reportedly)....after June 30 2015 its 0.

So what is the buyout between 12/31/2014 and June 30, 2015? January 1, 2015 begins the peak hiring season.

Don't know if that is reduced.....the contract buyout on June 30 2015 is naddda...maybe it goes down pro rata from Jan 1 to the end of June.

Depends on if they view it as a 3 year extension :).
