Did anyone else fall out of their seat at the kitchen table while reading the annual report of the Mustang Club where Copeland stated that our payout from the WAC year before last was $217,000? I wonder how much we forfeited by leaving the conference last year.

That surely has to be a misprint, or some fuzzy math. With BCS chump schools like Baylor, etc. getting millions of dollars whilst getting their arses handed to them on a regular basis, there is no way we can keep up. No new facilities = lesser recruits= losses = smaller attendance at games = less money to pay for new facilities. That is a bad spiral.

Suit must be brought against the BCS. If not, there will be NO non-BCS conferences ten years from now.

The Mustang Club report didn't list the GPA for the football team or men's basketball team either. As for the WAC payout, we might be better off in the C-USA. But we must break up the BCS cartel with a true NCAA playoff.
