June Appearance at the Hofstra Basketball Game

Postby SMUer » Mon Jan 20, 2014 2:56 am

Showed up mid-way through the first half in a grey SMU jacket and stood right behind the band-student section...other than the SMU employee he was with, nobody, even male students walking right next to him, payed him any notice. June walked over to the PonyUp TV spot on the loge...one handshake, then pretty much ignored. June sat by himself at the table, watched some of the game, then wandered off shortly there-after.

So this is what a lame-duck coach looks like.

I think they showed a shot of him on the jumbotron at the USF game too...he waved to the crowd and got no reaction whatsoever.

Of course, it might not have been him.

Glad he came but was surprised by the coldness shown toward him. It's an observation.

I swear. Some people are just never happy. JJ could dive into a flooding creek, saw of of two drowning puppies, then someone would post "June drowns puppy".

If red and blue dye didn't burn his flesh I'd be a little happier about him.

No hate. Just sad. I almost feel bad for him. Once a king, now a pariah.

FWIW, I'm glad June was there. He also came to a game in Garland. Didn't stay for much of it, but at least he was there

I don't mind him going to these games, as long as it's not taking time away from recruiting, reviewing his staff and game situation plays.
