Recruiting in DFW should be like drilling for Oil in Saudi Arabia or selling Ipads at Northpark. Good Lord we make it difficult on ourselves.

We could never get these kids to even look at SMU...now at least we are starting to offer them because we are a respectable program now. Still a long shot but little by little this is the direction we are moving towards.

I don't blame our coaches for not wasting their time going after these 4 star kids before. Now we are starting to go after them because it takes a long time to build a reputation as a solid program and that is what people are seeing us as now. TCU wasn't going after any of these kids either until now...so I still don't get you hate lemmings...

Just one example of you not know what you are talking about.
TCU has not only offered but committed 4 stars every year in 12 out of 13 years in the Rivals database

TCU was going after these kids before they went to the Big 12. And we were going after these types of kids with AK. USF's first year coach is landing these types of kids with no IPF (not that one isn't needed). USF also lands kids with BCS offers.

probably ought mention Cincy since they have 17 times more 3 stars than SMU and a quality Class ranked No. 48-their coach has spent a decade in SEC and Big 12. I wonder if he bothers to contact recruits

This video pisses me off about SMU football. I don't understand why that don't get it. This video said everything you need to know about the state of SMU football and the lack of recruiting we do. We are in contention with top recruits because we don't try. "You miss 100 percent of the shots, you don't take."

If they just focused their energy on TX schools, especially DFW, we would at least be respectable.
