Bugs me when people say all games are important starting now. ALL games are important.. from the start of the season to the end of the season.
What about preconferencepreseason games?

Tonight will be interesting from an attendance perspective. Midweek game but more reasonable 7PM tipoff. Unranked opponent. We need to pack the house, show LB & Co. we have his back. I fear we may disappoint.

Spread is SMU by 13.
ESPN pick center says 91.8% chance we win and a 50.2% chance we cover.

@redhorse, I think part of beng an SMU fan is worrying no one will show up to the game. Honestly I think we are at a point where we can expect 4000+ each game and lots of enthusiastic students. I think that number and and the overall size and layout of moody will always creat a good home atmosphere for the team.

This team is pretty good. Moody is nice. We sell beer. Not worried.

I am not worried about attendance anymore at all. We are good, beer, stadium is incredible, presentation is amazing. I have 2 non affiliated friends going tonight that have been asking to go for a long time. It's starting to become the "hot" ticket.

Completely agree. As we continue to rack up wins, fans will begin to show up in droves. I usually hate bandwagon fans, but I will gladly welcome them onto the SMU bandwagon.

I would gladly volunteer to drive a heavily overloaded SMU bandwagon. Great problem to have. Though I know there are about 1,000 posters on here with seniority over me for the title of Bandwagon Driver.

I think the range on future attendance should be the 6,300 we got against USF and the 7,100 we got for UCONN. We are talking tickets distributed not butts in seats so I think 6,000 is probably about the floor based upon season tickets, student/staff tickets. The Hofstra game was not part of Moody plan and was hindered due to NFC Championship. I'm going to say we get 6,700+ in announced tickets tonite

Also, USF game was a 6pm start and tonight is 7 which should give people more time to get to the game

you can pretty well tell that the only area they haven't sold considerable season tickets are in the last 6-7 rows of each endzone area at the top. Otherwise, there are substantial butts in seats in all other rows/area even a long time before games
