Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmNo AD gets to make that call if too much money is tied up in buying out the coach's contract. That's just the fact of the situation. But you're right that Hart would have moved on if he could. He's saying the only things he can say publicly. He's a helluva an AD and is doing all the right things.
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
I thought I already coherently explained why his hands were tied and he couldn't buy June out after 2013, so we gave JJ an extension that really isnt worth [deleted] and we can easily get out of after this season. It was really our only option...and obviously he isn't going to bash his current football coach, at least not publicly. If you want to blame the AD, blame Orsini who gave June such a sweetheart deal. Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmAlso, Whataburger > In N Out, in my opinion.
Does anyone think it's strange that both advertise at Moody? Seems odd to have competitors both advertising at games- you'd think one would be "the official hamburger of SMU athletics" or something 2005 PonyFans.com Rookie of the Year Award Recipient

Not at the pricepoint. Nothing better than In N Out for value.
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmIn n Out's fries suck in my opinion, whereas Whataburger's are up there with McDonald's as the gold standard in french fry quality

Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmGot me there. I just can't get over how *expensive* Whataburger is, though. I spend three times as much -- three times -- when I take my family there as compared to In N Out. Whataburger's not three times better.
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmOk, I exaggerated. I did the math and a double cheeseburger with fries and a shake is $5.93 at In N Out versus $9.77 at Whataburger. Still.
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
What type of fries do you like? You can customize your fries at In-N-Out
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
I like them crispy. Whataburger has perfected that. Can you order that at In N Out? I always order crispy fries at burger house
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
Why did you open that can of worms. You are talking about two different things. I can't remember anyone bashing him about marketing. It is other areas. Or are you just being a incendiary on purpose? The thread was going well until you derailed it. If the football team had a promising future and was exciting they would have good crowds as well imo. By the way when was the last time Moody was sold out since it is so easy to do? Last edited by Rebel10 on Tue Jan 21, 2014 3:23 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pmI've already won 2 Whataburgers by sitting in Section of guy who hit 3 baskets-they did that in Garland it seems not in Moody. I'm reinvesting the prize money

Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
Ask for fries well-done at in-n-out
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
That is a pretty significant difference. #HammerDown
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
They do it in Moody too but you are probably getting a beer when they do it
Re: First 500 students get free innoutburger starting at 5pm
This is exactly my thinking too. I am absolutely dumbfounded to see an actual, functioning marketing department at SMU. It's almost like someone said... hmm, winning national awards for advertising across campus, could we possibly use some of that thinking in other ways? [Insert Guiness commercial voice] Brilliant!
