I must have been in 8th grade back during that NCAA tourney year with Shumate - but those were fun games. Amazing to see how full Moody got against UH and Rice - those were amazing games. Only other time it felt like that was during my junior year in college against Tulsa with all of those Tulsa fans.

To be fair, I think Shumate did get hosed in recruiting. I vaguely remember that one of his recruits was rejected for admission by Pye's minions. The recruit ended up going to Notre Dame.
