The team is not practicing yet. Classes just started Friday, and it's safe to assume players are working out in some capacity, but they're not holding anything that even resembles a formal practice - not allowed to do so until spring workouts. I think they can have some sort of organized conditioning sessions, but if memory serves, they can be supervised only by strength/conditioning staff and/or trainers. I'll try to find out what they're doing.

Phillips made an offer just days ago-as in Jan 19-20th. But I wouldn't be surprised if some coaches jump from sinking ship-that would be sure sign that June's "3 year extension" is a mirage

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

Agreed, but let's still rip Hart and the school for rewarding his mediocrity with an extension, it is fun.

The "3 year extention mirage" is a great strategy for building a football program. Good idea to skip a year of recruiting, and pass on all of this years top head and assistant coaching canditdates, while the program goes into the toilet. Phillips "made an offer" ? What does that even mean? Are assistant coaches at SMU now making their best offer?
