It looked like Jordan snapped at someone in the crowd right after the tech as well. Anyone know what that was about, and what he said?

Well... that and the fact that the foul that provoked the technical was absolute garbage. It's nice to see us get some home cookin' but that foul was ridiculous.

The fact that Coach Brown was involved in calming down Rutgers' coach increases my respect for him. He's a true competitor but doesn't want to see a fellow coach get tossed.

At the same time I LOVE that the students were merciless about it.

Actually he was trying to calm down the fans not Coach Jordan. Class act. Coach Jordan did have a reason to be mad though and Coach Brown knew it.

Other than the first half of the tcu game my freshman year when pardon threw the first touchdown pass of the game, the Rutgers coach getting t'd up was the most fun I've ever had at an Smu sporting event as a Student. I was center court in the section and couldn't hear the guy next to me it was so loud .

I was in the blue seats and that was definitely the loudest moment of the game.

it got loud for sure but that was a clear foul on Ben Moore. Even Ben began walking the other way thinking it was a charge. Kind of felt bad for the coach but it ignited Moody Madness

Markus Kennedy's reaction was interesting. Right after the technical foul was called, Markus was actively making fun of the Rutgers coach and getting the crowd riled up. My 12 year old commented that he thought Kennedy was being a "stinker" and was surprised the refs would let him get away with that.

I like Markus' attitude on the court. Wouldn't want to play against him

The @smu_themob looked great on tv. Reminded me of when Officer Norris threatened to throw me out of the Tech game because I was screaming at Bobby Knight too much.

That was hilarious. Bobby Knight just about came after all of you. I remember him saying that it was one of the most disrespectful places to play he'd ever coached at.

It was definitely a clear foul on Ben as he pushed him down. It happened with 8:25 left in the 2nd half.

Watching on TV I felt this was the worst sounding crowd we've had so far. When they were making a little bit of a run it was a little quiet. Then we seemed a little flat the crowd again was a little quiet. Also I don't follow this mean spirited stuff (and the bs yelling at Eddie Jordan when he had every right to be pissed). Just scream for your team, chant defense etc. To me the whole yelling at individuals just seems childish and in poor taste. Be loud as hell but keep it relevant.

So we had the most energy when the opposing coach got pissed at a clearly bad call? Sad. How about when we dunk it for a momentum shifter or how about after a great steal. We have some stupid dumb [deleted] fans. Sorry just makes us look stupid, clueless, arrogant (we haven't done anything to be arrogant about even), and classless.

Always ok to go after the opposing coach. It was much more fun when they allowed us to sit behind the opposing team. Abe Lemons used to jaw back right at us.

They're getting under the skin of the opponent...kinda part of the job for a student section. The students were great all night.
