Kudos to the students that were there! I have to agree with Larry Brown, there is room for a lot more students in Moody, way too many empty seats in the lower bowl and the high dollar blue hair section is a joke.

I heard the post game interview too and I agree with Coach Brown. Our players need their fellow students to be there early. It's intimidating to the away team and gives out team energy and swagger to know their classmates are excited to see them play.

Does some need to make t-shirts similar to what UT had for football games when they were having a similar issue? Something like "Come Early, Be Loud, Stay for Varsity"?

Need the fraternities to figure out that if they get there early they can sit with all of their pledge class together. That will get people inside fast.

In time it'll happen. As the winning catches on so will the crowds. We have to build a fanbase all over again & that includes the students as apart of that base. As long as LB has us winning & winning 'big', the crowds will eventually turn into a 'fanbase'. Give it time & let's thank the people that are coming instead of giving them a hard time.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

The separation of the three sections of students gives it a disjointed feel. There is rarely coordination amongst them all and then the cheerleaders do their own thing. Need to make the student section more unified avid contiguous. Put the 'guests' behind the visitors and unite the student sections.

I say leave the friends behind our bench (if you have to) and put more students behind THEIR bench :D

The whole lower bowl student ticket thing is very frustrating... My fraternity brothers and I are huge fans and sit in the first two rows sec 108 behind the basket... Luckily I was able to sit center court for the UConn game, as a lot of students didn't come back from break for it. I got kicked out of the Mob section against Hofstra during the halftime magic show because a "SMU ticket/seat enforcer" came by and checked to make sure the ticket matched where you were sitting. As I left the section to make my way back to 108, I kindly told him how dumb it was that us students couldn't sit in the section that gets seen the most on television if it is was not filled. I'm more than willing to give up my seat to one who has paid for it, but if that section isn't filled, I feel there shouldn't be a problem with students from under the baskets filling it.

And yes it is very hard for everyone do the same chant from across the court and with the Mob.. needs to be some kind of system where we decide when were gonna just be crazy loud or do a chant when on D. Hopefully something will be improved for next year, but not sure what they could do with the set up of the seats and the NCAA rules...

Simple solution, by into the mob
