Wow. Best thing to hear is not only does he want to be here until his son graduates but he has a 16 year old daughter he wants to attend SMU. We may actually be able to keep him for a while. Jank is the one that may be wondering if he will ever get a chance.

This is getting fun ladies and gents.

This is reassuring - he ain't leaving anytime soon. But he will be almost 80 by the time his daughter graduates. The Godfather sure draws attention.

I just had flashes of us winning a National Championship. There is no doubt, I would have a breakdown (in the greatest way possible).

I'll admit, the prospect of Jankovich taking another job and losing Larry the next year is scary. Hopefully the timing all works out.

That said, the maxim "winning solves everything" rings true here. If we've built a solid program, quality coaches will want to be here.

I hope Turner and every top recruit in the country reads this part

"I want to get to the league and Coach Brown can help me get there," Frazier said. "He's one of the best coaches ever. Why wouldn't I want to learn from him and stay in my own backyard?

"He's already made me a better player. I'm more patient. I don't just come down looking for my shot. I'm playing within the offense and playing the right way. He's a great coach."

Just in case this has not been said enough....thank you Keith Frazier! Thank you for staying home and having faith in Larry Brown. Keep working hard. You have a knack for hitting the 3 just when the offense is needing it most.

Not to worried about Jankovich pursuing another job. . . To me, it moves Coach Ulric Maligi up a chair, and more experience for him to become SMU's future basketball coach. JMO, keeping Ulric at SMU is imperative

yeah you ought to be very worried about keeping our recruiting assistants. I really hope those guys are developing the coaching skills to become head coaches one day. Great teacher

Nice job by JJT. In JJT's tweeter bio it says he's an adjunct professor at SMU. Did anyone know that?
