He probably went to the BB game right from the airport. He was the OC/QB Coach for the East team at the East West Shrine Bowl on Saturday (game was played in the Trop. In St. Petersburg FL). Gerry Glanville was the East's HC.

In all honesty I was going to say hello but he had his head in his phone - he very well may have been interacting with a recruit or something.

I bet they are afraid (and rightly so) that he would get a negative response. Think about how much crap we would get from the media for booing the savior of SMU football

They showed him and he waved....with absolutely no reaction from the crowd. The guy's ego has to be hurting so bad from how little anyone cares that he is here anymore.

Sad, really. He had it rolling when we beat TCU in 2011 and had Gabe Marks committed.

I thought that might be him too but I didn't recognize him without his Patriots' hat

Exactly. When you think about this whole saga dating back to Maryland & then ASU, it has unraveled a little more each year into one big sad story that didn't have to happen. JJ really made some very poor decisions that he can only blame on himself. It didn't have to happen this way.
BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.
