That was awesome Treadway. Here is ours, this is from right after we won the National Championship in 2002. Our starting OLB Cie Grant got up and sang it for the celebration back in Columbus. But it's the one done after every game when you see our players run to the end of the stadium with the students and wrap their arms around one another singing.

Skip to 3:25 mark. That's when it starts, this one gives me chills every time I hear it. Not sure if it's remembering the good times or the voice he's got.

I think rushing the court should be reserved for a win over a top 3, maybe top 5 team if it is won in epic fashion. Hate that is has become as diluted as bowl season. I also think you should act like you've been there even if you haven't

If your even debating rushing the court on a message board, then it probably shouldn't happen. It should be a spontaneous outburst of emotion to something outrageous like a massive upset of a top 5 team by a SMU team ranked outside of the top 20 or 25.

Great stuff - great voice. I have some OSU friends so have a bit of a soft spot in my heart for OSU. And I am proud of how SMU played against OSU in the 50s. Most SMU fans have no idea that there is a lot of history between the teams in 50s, 60s and 70s/

Couple of cool pictures I found (not trying to hijack the thread, but had to post them).

Those are cool pics. Maybe we'll renew the rivalry on the court in the NCAA tourney next year in the Final Four or something. Both teams should be absolutely stacked, we return everyone with another great class coming in and SMU does too with Mudiay coming in. Gonna be fun to watch my teams the next couple years, sports bliss.

OBF- I can remember when some fans changed the words to Carmen Ohio to: Oh come lets sing Ohio's praise and let's get rid of Woody Hayes. :) Obviously many decades ago.

I was at the games in the early 50's. Managed to get into the SMU locker rooms thanks to Doak W. and still have my programs that were autographed by most of the players.

Before my time ha. But I can imagine that little escapade drew quite a bit of criticism. Can't even imagine the public outcry if it happened in today's PC world.

I see nothing wrong with it if it happens against Louisville.

Considering where this program has come from in such a short amount a time, a win over the defending National Champions definitely is something I don't think anyone would've thought was possible even as short as last summer.

agree - no need to rush for Memphis - it should be no surprise if we beat them or Cinn. Louisville might we worthwhile.
