This ^. If we lose to Houston it will be because OBF jinxed us with his 25 game win prediction even though we are offensively challenged.

Can we please change our mindset of hoping to make "a" post season tournament to actually making "the NCAA Tournament"? I get the point of the topic. I get the direction of the question, but let's be honest with each other, no one cares if we make the NIT. Isn't a better question, how many wins do we need to make the NCAA Tournament? Do we need to win The American post season conference tournament? This is not being greedy, this is realistic for this year's team.

Since you are pretty good at making polls why don't you make a few asking those questions?

Actually I think that you have some good questions for a poll.

lol I can't jinx the team. So if SMU wins 25 games, do I get all the credit too? It was cause OBF said 25 that the team won that many? It's not that much with conference tourney play

Well I guess you could get partial credit. LOL.

I'm just a realist man. I think it's realistic or I wouldn't say it and I'm not being optimistic either. I truly believe SMU lands at 24 wins at least and probably has a couple wins in the AAC tourney. One way or another, they get to 25. LB needs to get the team to really believe now, he's brought it up more than once now. And I don't deserve any credit for the record lol. I just look and see that they should get 2/5 big games remaining and should win the others. The odds could tell you the same thing as what I'm saying that someone else posted in a thread.

I think we have to sweep Houston and then beat Louisville, Memphis or Cincy to get in the NCAA. If we lose to Houston this weekend, we have to either win two of those games or make a pretty good run in the conference tourney.

So what would it take to get to the NIT?

Unless Nic Moore gets hurt, there is no way we get under 20 wins. NIT is a lock at that point.

This is one of those teams that should keep you from making predictions.

I gotcha.

I tend to agree with that.

I honestly don't see them missing it, not to get a head of myself, but there's nobody they should lose to other than the top 4, even on the road. Yeah, they might have to scrape by Houston or someone, but it should be a win. That's 7 wins right there, and I truly believe they're going to win 2/3 home games against Louisville, Memphis, and Cinci. That gives them 2 more quality wins, 24 wins, I also think they steal one away at Memphis or UConn. That would give them 25 and depending on how they do in the AAC tourney, looking at a 7 seed. I think that's the goal and the team goal today. I'd be shocked if it isn't something like that.

Like said in another thread that there are no gimmies. Each game from this point on will be a grind.

Alright, you're actually an idiot if you think that was not a gimme. They are beyond pathetic. That was an atrocious loss. Like get a grip dude. Just because they allow 48 points in the 2nd half doesn't make USF some magically good team. Oh, and it wasn't SMUs defense according to you? Did you watch the same game?
