I an interview not to long ago he said that Nevada had pulled his offer but UNT had made an offer. So he has offers from UNT, Texas State, and SMU.

This is ESPN info so JasonB will happy with it.
5-8 158 pounds
4.64 forty
Malone said he ran his 4.64 with a strained hamstring. He said the fastest time he has ever run was a 4.32, and that that he "usually runs about that (fast)."

You would think with a self reported 4.32 that he would not have gotten his Nevada offer pulled. Any I know you guys are trying to make June look as good as possible so I understand. Anyway with a self reported 4.32 per PonyPride he should be the fastest man on the team. Deep threat problem solved.

he ran a slow 11.41 100 Meters last year but they only have one meet showing. Perhapss he pulled a hamstring for rest of season. I dunno only real info they have on him except for Relays run at the same meet http://www.directathletics.com/athletes ... 92967.html

Not trying to make anyone look good or bad or otherwise. I asked him his best time in the 40, and he said 4.32. I mentioned the 4.64 and asked if it was accurate, and he said it was, but said it was run when he had a strained hamstring. He also said he didn't know of any offer being pulled.

I believe the quote was that Nevada was no longer recruiting him. Did he say if he had a UNT offer? Is the height and weight right?

I guess he must have pulled it before that. Looking forward to that 4.32 speed coming to SMU.

He told me he's 5-9.5 and as of today, 168 pounds. He did mention UNT offer.

I guess if you are going to have to reach on someone as a last minute offer, at least he might contribute on special teams. Although this might be like the 5'5 kid we offered at the last minute in June's first class...
