Re: GradesInvestigators were probably trying to contact June Jones who coincidently hasn't been in office for 2 months

When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: GradesWhat does SMU have to do with a DISD investigation into grade changing? According to the article:
"Dallas ISD investigators are reviewing a district program that has helped thousands of struggling seniors graduate after a separate investigation found that a top basketball recruit’s grades were improperly changed." So does Shipp et al believe SMU is influencing thousands of kids' grades? It would seem that the investigators are WFAA cause the NCAA would notify the university first of an investigation. In 1982, WFAA ran me down working in a morgue to ask me about SMU recruiting. Claimed they had it ‘on good authority that I was the man in know when it came to SMU recruiting.' I shared what I had received from an SMU alum but they never put me on camera or reported it. WFAA never ever ran down a UT grad, especially in a morgue to ask about UT recruiting. When reviewing a story, or in this case a fairytale, one has to ask, who is the source? IS the source trusted? And then the next question is the probability of the story being accurate. I speak for nobody but myself, WFAA is not a trusted source and the probability of anything they ‘report’ being even close to accurate is infinitesimally small. But WFAA is great as using prevarications and canards to create the illusion of ‘factual’ reporting. Last edited by ponyte on Mon Jan 27, 2014 4:07 pm, edited 3 times in total.

Scram. If you have to say you are a fan, you're NOT a fan.
Re: GradesHey I'm gonna wait six years with countless threads that have been far more inflammatory than this one to poke my head out from under my rock to defend Brett Shipp and compare SMU to Jerry Sandusky!

Re: Grades"And just by the way, a lot is coming to light (at least for me) about Shipp's reputation and reporting tactics. I have based my comments and reactions on the actual report & facts themselves, not anything prior"

So is KF's ankle okay? Again, that's why I really came onto the site this morning.
Re: GradesAsk your buddy Shipp. I'm sure he's right on top of that too.

And immediately underneath a link to the Bill Nichols article written after the UConn win. I'm sick of those b@stards. Just sickening.
