Horrible effort. Flat footed, lazy passes, not finishing shots. That just didn't look like a LB team.

I like said each game will be a grind. Some predicted 25 wins and said we have a bunch of gimmies but no game including Temple, who almost beat Cincy, will be a gimmie from here on out.

Just cause the defense flat-out sucked [deleted] doesn't mean that USF is good or a tough game. USF shot 53 freaking percent. 53. Out-rebounded with a freshman and a sophomore that haven't rebounded all year well. That's pretty pathetic. No heart, no energy, no urgency tonight. Came out flat and walked right through this game in their sleep. This USF team is 1-6 in the AAC, the same team that just got blown out by 40 against Louisville AT HOME. The same USF team that lost to Santa Clara and Detroit. This game is 100% effort and tonight there was zero. They got beat up by a team that is weaker, less talented, and quite frankly doesn't have more than one kid that start for SMU. Oh, and the RPI is over 150. That definitely falls into the horrible loss category.

The good news tonight is Arkansas and Baylor both lost, so we shouldn't have to do much to remain above them

Louisville beat them by 40. And the game was played in the same building as tonight. That was beyond pathetic and an embarrassing effort.

I was thinking as the game begin how nice it is to have a team that doesn't give up a lot of easy points, especially in transition. Well we got a rude awakening tonight. And twice followed them up by throwing away the inbound pass to give them 4 point plays. Another weak bucket when KF tried to help one of our guys up who had just scored while apparently being fouled, but it wasn't called. We didn't have that margin for error tonight. I guess we have to expect growing pains, but ouch.
