SMU to open its doors to Tulane students from Dallas

President Turner announced this afternoon that Tulane students from the D/FW area will be able to enroll at SMU for this semester, but they have only until 9/8/05 to do so.

I hear a rumor of this earlier (being on campus today) and I have to say that I love this move. BRAVO.

...but they have only until 9/8/05 to do so.

While some might say that this might be a problem, it most likely won't be... because, if these kids are from the D/FW area, they are probably now back here, so enrolling by the 8th (a week from now) is more than enough time to decide whehter or not to take a semester off... methinks that most won't and SMU will provide a good home for them this semester.
