Traylon Shead
There were murmurings that he is transferring in the running RB/QB thread..? Does anybody have clearer facts on the subject? I really like the kid's potential and am hoping he sticks around on the hilltop. We could truly use a stand-out year from a player like him.

If we sign the RB from Ft. Worth and Shead is back healthy alongside Nlemchi and Line, P. does Pope still come back as a RB or does he stay at LB?

YES!!!!
But also I think Pope would be back at LB because of the need there.

Re: Traylon Shead
Pope needs to be full-time at MLB. Between Shead, Nmelchi, Line, and Lagasse surely that's enough RB's for this offense.
Back off Warchild seriously.

If he's back and plays defense, would he stay at his spot, or slide over to where Joyner played? Does it matter which position makes the defensive calls?

He's leaving for the pros. Good luck to traylon. Had a tough college career.

That is a terrible decision if true.

Definitely didn't see this one coming. Good luck to him if true, but leaving after an injury shortened year is probably not his best career move.

Really?
Although I don't see him as an impact pro player, why would he stay here?
He would be looking forward to a 4-8 season, playing for a team that does not want to run the ball, a bad O-line, a young inexperienced QB, a coach with a terrible offensive philosophy being chased out the door, and 2 star recruits on the way.
Terrible decision?

I wish we'd had the chance to see what he could do with a full healthy season at SMU.
