Are you repeating stuff from the Rivals premium pay board? Just curious.
Yes, I don't subscribe but follow them on twitter and those two items popped up on my feed. I thought Shead was not coming back?
Wonder if we could RS Gresham in 2014? I imagine one of the big selling points in his recruitment is early PT, and knowing June he'll play him for two or three plays in the eight game of the season to burn it, but I just thought I'd throw that out there

Also- we get this guy's last visit and his other choices are a CUSA team in San Antonio or Colorado State. If this staff can't pull him, that's pathetic.

Quote from an interview with Gresham. Gresham and his high school coaches decided to make calls to non-BCS programs to get an idea of what schools were interested. SMU happened to be one of them.
"It was a spur of the moment thing. When I talked to the SMU coaches, they told me they saw my tape and were interested early on, but they didn’t think they had a chance at me because of my offers so they never got in contact with me," Gresham said. "But with everything out of whack, they said they were definitely still interested in me."

I always felt this was the case regarding legit recruits, nice to see it in print.
They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Just glad LB doesn't feel that way when it involves competing with top schools for recruits.
I'm going to go ahead and take full credit for Gresham's career at SMU if he commits to the Mustangs
If you'll remember Saturday SAPony(?) or the fan close to the UTSA program mentioned an unnamed high profile RB who was visiting UTSA and had offers from all the bigs. Put 2 + 2 together and stated that he must be talking about Daniel Gresham and that June ought to give him a call once he got back from his world tour.
OBVIOUSLY, Gresham read my post-because we know "recruits all read these boards" and made the call himself
I would have made the call before June knew who this guy was. SA Pony will receive a "Finder's Fee". Thank god all recruits read Ponyfans
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.

I am not so certain. I recall Zach Line seeming underwhelming early in his career. Don't count out Prescott. First post! Pony up

Haha! Stallion - you have now landed more recruit(s) than half of our staff!

This is interesting to me. He originally was going to UT, then switched to Louisville, now the Louisville coach is going to Texas, but he's not coming? If he was good enough for UT, but then switched to UL and liked the coach, wonder why he isn't going to UT now?

Not arguing, just curious.
Texas probably has more depth at RB and Strong would rather use the scholly on another position. That's my guess

Wow. That's just pathetic. Hope they don't teach the "Let's not try because we don't have a chance" mentality to our players.
Hopefully they were just trying to flatter the guy. Jeez...
