20 wins and NIT and I'm happy. Where I had us at the beginning of the season. Next year is our Tourney run. But I'll be shouting/rooting to win 'em all!!

you are all underestimating how much Yanick helps this team. I am not going to be happy at all with a NIT bid - it needs to be the dance. 23 wins and 4th slot.

Screw the NIT, this team is good enough and coached well enough to be in the dance. Anything less than that will be a huge disappointment. I want to go to an SMU tournament game!!!!!

The best chance would be to shock the world in the Conference tourney :)

I don't think this team is a tourney team. Not enough offensive fire power. You saw what having an off defensive night does against us. If a team scores more than 70 against us, they usually win.

One off defensive night doesn't mean we can't play D, and D and rebounding is what wins which we can do. Overall the opponents offensive shooting percentage has to be one of the best in the conference let alone the country. With that there is no reason they shouldn't be in the tournament

I agree but if D carries you (which I agree is definitely our strength) and you don't have much O, you are too one sided and can't really be an elite team. So you have an off D night, and you have no O, then you can't win. If you have O, and have an off D night, sometimes can you still win. We need another shooter and penetrator. I was a little disappointed with Yanick's offensive performance, but was told he's really a defensive specialist so there you go. Need Russell to average double figures and someone like Frazier to average more like 10 a game as well. Plus more buckets from Sterling (not a lot, just a few more) and we are good. Close, we just need about 5-6 more points/average a night and we are right there with the top teams in our conference. Right now, we aren't.

Not saying we are an elite team, far from it right now. We have holes that seem to get exposed more so on the road. But think there is no reason why we can't be in that 10-12 seed range. So many teams get those seeds based on their name but sense we have a legendary coach I think we can get it. Saying that it all starts Saturday, defend Moody!!!!
