Good for AAC basketball for sure.

Now we need Memphis, us, and UConn to finish ahead of UL in conference. Nothing like sending the ACC the 5th place team.

Definitely would be the perfect outcome.

I agree with this, the other thing to think about is seeding in the conference tournament.

Top 6 teams get a bye. First round is 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9.
Assuming 7 and 8 win, second round would be:
1 vs 8
2 vs 7
3 vs 6
4 vs 5

It looks like there is a big drop off from 5 to 6, so there is a lot of benefit in getting that 3rd seed.

IMHO - we have to win 2 games in the grouping of Memphis (home and/or away) Cincy (home) Louisville (home) Uconn (away) to really have a good shot at the tourney. Of course, we could always win one in the AAC tourney as well, but I think if we take 2 wins against that grouping of teams, we are solid. Also have to win the ones we are supposed to.

Then again, I am not Joe Lunardi, so WTF do I know...!
