I try to refrain from making snide comments the president on this message board since more than likely 90% or so of our scholarship players parents and recruits parents probably voted for him.

Then they're part of the problem. (In my humble opinion)

No wonder why there is a perception that African American kids don't feel welcome at SMU. With jerks like you spouting off publicly like that I can see why. So you seem to be part of that problem.

It's kind of like how someone always has to make a JJ joke anytime LB gets praise on the Basketball Board. Even the people that agree with you get annoyed. It's inserting something unrelated that no one in that particular forum cares to discuss.

I do also agree that it isn't wise to make such comments on a public forum like PonyFans. No reason to add to the perception. Even though I think everyone on here agrees that we love the kids we have on the current squad and are looking forward to the ones LB & Co will bring in the future!

Talk to your professors about the textbooks. They are the ones who request the bookstore order books for them. If you're only going to use parts of a book, ask your prof to request those sections get copied at AlphaGraphics.

If a recruit's family is limiting their search to just schools where everyone loves Obama, then Berkeley and Brown should have a hell of a team next year.

The only thing worse than putting politics into a non political thread is being hyper-sensitive about presidential criticism. Go over to _______(fill in the political time wasting site d'jour) if you want to do either of those things. You'll find plenty of takers.
