that is seriously the best sports experience in Dallas. I don't care if you aren't even an SMU fan - that would be nothing but entertaining. A packed building of students that are into it is just fun - they are a crack up.

I brought a diehard UT fan to UCONN. He had so much fun he went on his own today and has bought tix to other key home games and is quickly becoming an SMU bball fan.

We could have the same excitement in fball if we had a coach that gave a crap, would recruit and would bring an offense and defense that could play with the enthusiasm that our bball boys do.

I would have been shocked had they not cleared it. The back lash the NCAA would have caught had they said no would would be ugly.

Yeah, I said it tongue-in-cheek. lol. Funny what they will and won't clear, you seriously never know with those guys. It's a joke. One of OSU bball players had a similar instance, only a family death and he got denied once. On the 2nd go-around, the NCAA let him go. That was a year or two ago.

Or that kid that was ruled ineligible for college football initially because he played on an intramural team in the Army that was considered an organized league or some BS. I've had my fill with the NCAA and their BS.

Another great aspect of this marquee win is the exciting brand of basketball that was displayed today. Tenacious D, high flying dunks, and diving all over the place. I would think that's just the type of stuff that the selection committee loves to see. Electric atmosphere and great story surrounding LB doesn't hurt either.
