LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during games

Postby Rebel10 » Sat Feb 01, 2014 5:10 pm

Coach Brown on the radio said the a young lady (he may have said it was his niece) told him she wanted to go to the game but her sorority had a chapter meeting the same time of the game. He said that things like that need to change and something like that would have never happened at North Carolina.

He said that he really liked the game atmosphere and thanked the fans. Said that the fans really gave the team a boost.

we really don't need SMU sorority girls in our home crowd. We just need all the guys, and as many of the girls as we have that know how to be a good fan.

Hopefully that problem will be corrected. Never let a school event get in the way of a sorority function.

It was a request from Coach Brown. I guess he wants the entire student body involved. Seems like a reasonable request.

I highly doubt this was the case. Might just be something she said instead of saying "no I'm not coming"

Probably some event, but never heard of a chapter meeting on a Saturday afternoon.

I have heard of other meetings during games as well. The Elf couldn't make it one game due to a meeting of some kind. I believe LB said that his niece transferred here from North Carolina and that she was a hoops fan.

Girls are the best part. Who doesn't want a smoking hot girl to date that knows a thing or two about sports? Gives you time to talk about something other than the manicure appointment or what was in this week's edition of Cosmo.

Glad to see the Elf back. Would hate to face a ranked team at Moody without him and Lobster Man in the stands.

I did not see the lobster today. Saw the elf and a dog.

im all for cute girls that know some basketball. But i think we are all familiar with the typical SMU sorority girl - and i would rather have a very loud home court advantage than a bunch of shopping chatter.
