Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gam
lol maybe someday the sororities will change. You guys got some gorgeous women down there but it's pretty sweet when you go to UK, MSU, or Pitt and these girls know as much about the team or more than you. Pretty attractive imo lol
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gam
there were definintely some sports nuts from the east coast when I was in school. The southern gals would rather go to Northpark.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gambut the southern girls shave their legs. So ill take that trade off.

It can help in recruiting as well. "We will play man to man and we will pick you up at the airport." - Larry Brown

Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gam
lol, just from personal experience and what I've seen, I'm pretty sure it makes a lot of difference. Hell, Jalen Rose said on one of his podcasts one time that the parties and women that were thrown his way on OVs made a lot of difference in where teams stood ![]()
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gam
What? I am shocked, shocked to learn this type of behavior goes on during recruiting! ![]() GO MUSTANGS!
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamWhat I'd give to be a prized bball recruit....smh living the good life.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamCultural thing. UNC sorority girls are just as wealthy, stuck-up and hot as SMU girls.
The difference is they think it is cool to go to Tarheel games and they actually go. If not, then they are still partying before the game. I should know-my wife was one! Need to make SMU basketball the "trendy" place to be--then the sorority girls will show up. We are on our way.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gami guess my point is that we don't even want them there unless they are going to go nuts. There are only 700 student tickets. we need all 700 to be on fire the whole game, and not there just because they think it is cool to be there. So if they want to miss, thats fine.
Thats what is great about a 7k building with a great program. If can theoretically fill it with raging die hards and make i the most hostile building in america.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamHow many sorority chicks are going to sleep outside, in the cool to get student tickets? LB may want the babes there, but reality is they aren't going to suffer like idiot guys will. The success of the team and limited student seating conspire against the females.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamI think he just wants anyone that wants to go to the game to be able to go. If somebody isn't into the game, then there's no reason to be there. (And they probably won't wait in line.)
And for the record, my wife is a great fan... she's louder than I am almost 100% of the time.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamLB did say that and he added Kansas...there should be no conflicts on meetings (?) when its SMU game time...I am all for the sorority's to be there as well...we need to build a base of ALL fans. That will come, and LB WILL go to the Greeks to make sure his word is heard. Good observations by Larry...he does not miss a thing.
Re: LB asking sororities not to schedule meetings during gamThe worthless girls won't be there anyway. We will add the sport friendly girls which can only help being in more guys
