Phil on the ticket

Postby Grider » Thu Sep 01, 2005 3:07 pm

Talked about Tulane football team. He said they practiced at Jesuit yesterday.

He also said he had decided on a starting QB, but he wouldn't say who it was. Said he wanted to tell his QB first.

He did talk about both QB's and he mentioned Romo first each time. Is that reading too much into things?

That means he picked Eckert. He was just trying to throw you off.

Yup. Coach B gets a lot of ideas rolling around in his head at once, and can get ahead of himself. I would guess that the order in which he mentioned the QBs is meaningless, and that we'll see both Saturday.

As we all know, you don't win if you don't score points, however you forgot to mention the time he spent talking about our defense. I recorded his show and have had a chance to listen to it 3 times now (Windows scheduler THANK GOD). LB's, D-Line, Secondary...Grider, I swear the guy was [deleted]! I have a drive to make, but I can't wait to see what I read between the lines. GO MUSTANGS!!!!
