Yep. Seriously though, I'd like to know when you played at SMU.

Let's go ahead and jump ahead a few pages in this thread to its likely conclusion:

huntnfish: "Are not!!!"

My only comment is that it is appropriate that the Greatest PonyLite Moment was in fact the very FIRST game back from the Death Penalty and therefore one might rightly conclude that it has been all DOWNHILL after that! That tells it all.

Stallion,
Actually 1992 with the seniors, then 5-6 in 1996 with Rossley at the helm and 6-5 in 1997 with all of Rossley's players (Cavan) was the high point. Then came Copeland and his bad decision making.
You have to agree on the last sentence.

No Stallion, it was the SECOND game back from the dp, which means you don't even bother to read the articles. You have pre-judged every item post dp as irrelevant...therefore, I judge your comments to be irrelevant...not that you give a rat's [deleted] what I think...and that's OK.

Like I thought, a poser. As you know, your football opinions are now worthless since you can't back them up with playing time.

OK that's right -I forgot about the Rice game-then let me rephrase-the last 150 games have been ALL DOWNHILL since the GREATEST MOMENT in PONYLITE History. YOU PK are the one who is full of [deleted] for sucking up to this total farce. Better than Cotton Bowl vistories?, better than beating No. 2 UT in Austin with the Birth of the Pony Express ?better than a Classic clash between Top 10 schools lead by Walker and Layne. I don't think so-the EMPERIOR(Copeland) IS NOT WEARING ANY CLOTHES and he looks like a {a three letter word for Donkey}.

Nice image, Stallion. Thank you so much.
I was also at this game, sitting in the endzone. Also almost left. OF COURSE it doesn't belong in the top 10. But I think it belongs on the list somewhere. Those of you taking shots at this "post dp" moment need to rewind the tape and watch yourselves running onto the field after the game like a bunch of drunk birthday party clowns. (and don't try to act like you didn't do that, cause you know you did.)

My friend John T was the guy responsible for the crooked goalpost which appeared int he paper the day after. Can't say it was not a great comeback.

Please tell "John T" I'm a great admirer of his work. Sure you didn't help him? I wish I could say I did, but you know, I've always preferred to watch others split their skull open rather than participate myself.

Unfortunately, the schools involved have moved in vastly different directions. UConn moved up to Division 1 and became a member of the BCS. The UConn record is 21-7 in its last 28 starts; it is a member of the Big East; and last year upset BCS participant Pitt. While I enjoyed the comeback, we never built upon it.

Based upon last night, UConn is now 22-7 over the past 29 games.
