Maybe he can get a friend that played tight end who will tell him about pitches?

You guys give me way too much credit, although that would have been a very wily statement. I was recruited by Carmen Cozza, legendary head coach at Yale, to play football. They do not do athletic scholarship but they said they would "make arrangements" for my education to be paid. I thought seriously about it, as I did Army and Vandy, who also offered, and chose SMU.

Whoops. Then she is the exception that proves the rule.

I got recruited for soccer to Yale. My dad knew I wouldn't get in so he suggested to the Yale coach to check out my teammate who was a national merit scholar at St Marks. The coach saw him play and took him. He said the girls tried hard not to look good.

When I saw the girls at SMU, I knew exactly where I was going to go to play.
