When 90% of the recruits in an entire non-BCS conference are 3 stars you should be cvynical-I'll go so far as to call ESPN's ratings trash

I have always been a big Stallion fan but would it be fair to characterize your response as somewhat cynical? Disclaimer - I know you are a lawyer and you are a skilled advocate of your position.

It contradicts every other ranking service's evaluation, and recruiting evaluations are not ESPN's bread and butter by a long shot.

Last year, ESPN had our highest ranking recruit as that RB from Atlanta (Everett Dickerson?). Did he even make it to campus? I wouldn't give ESPN too much credibility on this one. But I'd like to say we HAD two 4 stars (if you included Harris). We should be getting that every year. 2-3 four stats and the rest quality 3 stars. No excuse. Get it done or get out.

ESPN ranks Emmanuel Mudiay as the number two shooting guard in the country. Is this yet another ESPN embellishment?

No, other sites have him listed similarly as high and his talent is evident by the other offers he turned down to go to SMU- Kentucky, Kansas, etc.

ESPN's star system is BS; typically the best way to evaluate a recruit is to see who all has offered them scholarships

If he is the number two shooting guard in the country it would be an embellishment. But the number two point guard in the country may not be.

Per victor Nguyen @VicFox4Sports: Daniel Gresham: "Honestly, if #SMU would've offered early on, I feel like I would've committed there." Imagine that June, big time players will choose you over big time schools if YOU ACTUALLY TRY AND RECRUIT THEM
